We want to offer delicious, fresh local food to the Busselton community and visitors to the region.

Our Vision

To provide a broad selection of the region’s best fresh produce and delicious local foods under one roof. Our kitchen team creates a splendid variety of hand made tasty foods using local produce. Western Growers Fresh will support locals and work sustainably wherever possible.

Set in a prime location at the entry to Busselton, on the corner of Causeway Road and the Bussell Bypass, Western Growers Fresh is a farmer’s market  and take-away cafe, all under one roof, and open seven days a week. There is easy access, plentiful parking and  also online shopping for grazing platters, corporate lunches, parties  for click and collect catering in Busselton. Wholesome burgers and barista coffee offer a  welcome stop for the travellers along the Bussell Bypass Highway.

In the expansive shop you will find quality local fresh food sourced from the South West and  Western Australia, with first preference given to produce from the local region. The wide variety of local fruit and vegetables grown in the Southern Forest Region and the vicinity is available here for purchase.

Not only limited to fruit and veg, we provide: local meat, local small-goods, dairy goods , fresh and frozen  seafood, raw honey, artisan made foods and confectionary, plus  a selection of different brands of grocery items. ( not the same as found in the huge national chains).

For your convenience is the widest range of ready-made healthy take-away meals in WA, all made here by our team of local chefs, using local ingredients and no additives or preservatives.
Choose from salads, curries, slow cooked meats, bakes, soups, sauces, pasta, plus more from the gourmet lunch delicatessen. Our Busselton patisserie delights are also made here on site in the bakery using WA flour and dairy goods.

Western Growers Fresh ethos supports; low food miles, low food waste, and sustainable practices, such as using as little non-recyclable plastic as we can. We research widely  and choose reusable, recyclable or compostable packaging.

Starting the business from scratch we opened our Busselton growers market in March 2019.

The Busselton Community is the lifeblood of Western Growers Fresh. We employ approximately 30 staff at Western Growers Fresh who are Busselton residents.

Produce

Vegetables, fruit, dairy goods, local meats (including organic), sustainable line caught WA seafood, nuts, grains, seeds, bread, eggs, honey and more.
Also  food products made in the region such as; olive oil, chocolate, nougat, coffee beans, biscuits, cakes, crackers, take-away meals, relishes, granola, muesli, preserves, jerky and small goods.

The Pastures of the south west farm excellent quality herds to provide quality and ethical meat products for our shoppers. Regenerative farming is practiced and allows us to stock meats from a range of farmers who grow in this manner. Our small goods are sourced from south west and WA butchers who use WA meats and traditional methods without nasty chemical additives.

Western Growers fresh has a commercial kitchen and Patisserie behind the retail space, where customers can watch  a band of skilled chefs turn the local produce into delicious ready-to-go meals, salads, sauces, dips, cakes, tartlets, pastries, catering platters and more.

• Our delicious and fresh Busselton take-away meals are prepared and cooked on the premises. Our  dishes contain whole foods with no additives or preservatives.
• We stock a variety of delicious products from hundreds of local suppliers: Meat, bread, milk, small goods, cheese, chocolates, olive oils, condiments, pickles, cakes, honey, fresh flowers.
