Locally Owned Business With Fresh Healthy Local Produce Coming Soon For Busselton
When driving into Busselton on Causeway Road you will see a new building growing fast, next to the Yahava Kwik Koffee and Puma fuel station.
A new locally owned business, Western Growers Fresh, will be opening here in March 2019, showcasing a broad selection of the region’s bountiful fresh produce and food products under one roof.
The business came to life properly when Mick, Sonja, Sharon and Hermann met Ray Mountney, who had a long term vision of a Busselton showcase for the local produce of the South West at his site on Causeway Road.
The Busselton locals had been looking for the right location for their local fresh produce store and Ray’s site ticked all the boxes. Their plan had been in process for some time, but as is often the case, it was all about the timing, which resulted in the site and business joining at this wonderful location at the Gateway to Busselton.
What will you find in this new building?
Western Growers Fresh is a wholesale/retail/kitchen business providing an exciting and engaging new shopping experience for the Busselton community.
Fresh produce is sourced from over 200 local West Australian farmers and suppliers, with a preference for goods grown, farmed and caught in the south west, with second preference to West Australian produce. Only if it is not available in WA, will produce come from the rest of Australia. Bread will be from local southwest bakers using WA flour and meat and fish will be from the South West.
The kitchen will prepare delicious home made ready-to-go and ready to cook meals. A great concept is the online store with drive through collection, which will provide a convenient shopping option for people short of time, or those who don’t wish to get out of the car.
In March 2019, the Hub on Causeway will be a place where you will be able to stop for fuel, buy fresh local food and local produce and grab a coffee to go, 7 days a week.
