Winner 2023 WA Regional Fresh Produce Retailer of the Year

We are celebrating some amazing news we want to share with you.

Western Growers Fresh has been awarded the Regional WA, Fresh Produce Retailer of the Year award 2023, at the annual MarketWest industry gala ball held at Crown Perth recently.

Overall Winner – Fresh Produce Retailer of the year 2023, Regional WA

We wish to congratulate our team of over 30 staff for the contribution they have made to this success. Special credit for this award goes to: Fresh Produce Manager Jorge Cardenas, General Manager Cameron Scott, Head Patisserie Chef Gurpreet Kaur, Head Chef Toby Hood.

Equally, each Western Growers Fresh chef, fresh produce team member, and customer service attendant deserve enormous praise, recognition and congratulations for treating every single customer every day of the year as if they are the monthly mystery shopper judge.

Our collective aim is to provide delicious fresh local food within a warm community atmosphere for our customers so that they will want to return again and again.

To be judged successfully over the year means consistent effort, and attention to detail. We are grateful to Market West for running this award and we salute all the category finalists for 2023 and congratulate the WA metropolitan winner, Tony Ales Fresh Market in Bibra Lake.We are delighted, incredibly proud and very humbled to be recognised with this award.

Winning this major award in 2023 means we have now received this award for the third year in a row – an amazing achievement for a small family-owned business that started in 2019, not quite 5 years ago.

Finally, we extend our gratitude to you, our customers, and valued shoppers, who support us, our local growers and food producers (over 200 of them).
